It seems there was a storm at Beihai St. Mark's Middle School that caused the ceiling of a classroom to collapse. The storm overturned the classroom, leading to the skylight opening and plates flying and falling to the ground. Fortunately, when this incident occurred around 4:30 in the afternoon, the students were outside, avoiding any injuries.
The classroom affected was the Chinese activity room situated on the top floor of the four-story school building. Strong winds blew several pieces of the ceiling away, and one or two pieces fell directly into the classroom. The heavy rain also caused the classroom to become wet, necessitating its temporary closure.
It's fortunate that the students weren't inside when this happened, preventing any injuries or harm. Such incidents underscore the importance of ensuring the structural integrity of buildings, especially during severe weather conditions, to avoid potential risks to individuals within these spaces.
